Sarah Veale is a freelance writer in Toronto, Ontario.

With over seven years of experience writing for publication, she is an authoritative voice on political, social and environmental issues and brings a unique perspective to current local, national and international topics.

Sarah began writing for Hamilton's weekly alternative paper View Magazine in 2004. In addition to producing stories for View, her writing was frequently featured in the Kitchener-Waterloo Echo and Pulse Niagara, reaching readers throughout the Golden Horseshoe. She has also contributed celebrity profiles to the nationally published Inside Entertainment. All in all, her work has been read by over two million readers each month across Canada.

Over the years, Sarah has interviewed leading academics, award-winning artists, and Canada's top politicians. Some highlights from her career include one-on-one discussions with Federal Green Party leader Elizabeth May, author and technology activist Cory Doctorow, and Grammy Award-winning musician PJ Harvey.

Ms. Veale is fluent in English and German and holds an Associate of Arts degree (A.A.). When not writing for print, she can be found blogging as the Toronto Vegetarian.
